Question: What are will physical therapy do for broken thumb!?
i broke my thumb 4 weeks ago at the top of the second bone, i got my cast off yesterday and the doctor said the part of the bone that was fractured shifted down!. it still hurts like it did when i first broke it, i have a physical therapy appointment for tommorrow, what will they do!? is a bone shift bad!? later affects!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

they first of all, relieve your pain and then regain your normal range of motion by using electrical modalities and exercise therapy!.!.!. the bone shift will not be bad!.!.!.!. it does not later affect when you do your physical therapy exercises daily!.!.!. get well soon!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Move your thumb back and forth and side to side!. Just excercise it!. Nothing really major!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
