Answers:
Drink more water!. Not energy drinks or coffee or tea or sodas or Gatorade!. Just water!. Make sure that in your vitamins is plenty of calcium and magnesium!. The cramps are usually associated with either dehydration and/or low calcium!. You'll probably see a noticable difference, though it might take a week or more to see it!. Don't just make sure the bottle of multivitamins says it has calcium and magnesium; take a specific supplement for it!. Follow directions, taking it (usually) twice daily!. I take one that has 1,000 mg!. Calcium and I can't remember right this minute how much magnesium!.

Second, when the cramps occur, stand up immediately!. It sounds crazy, but it works!. I started having these da** things during pregnancy and they continued afterwards!. The doctor told me about standing up and putting pressure on the foot!. It releases the spasming calf muscle immediately!. It might still be a little sore the next day, but not as much, if at all!. The next best thing you can do for immediate relief of the spasm is to flex your foot (pull your toes toward your head) and if you can put pressure on the bottom of your foot (I have a foot board that allows this)!. Good luck!. See your doctor if you don't get relief from the increased water and mineral intake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

- 400 IU Vitamin E before bed
- 400-milligram magnesium capsule two or three times a day (best taken with milk or calcium supplement) or a combination calcium/magnesium tablet!. (Be careful, magnesium may cause diarrhea)
- Potassium capsule or banana with warm milk before bedtime may also provide relief!.
- Watch your diet!. Certain medications, foods, etc!. can deplete your body of magnesium!.

HIgh doses of Niacin can cause leg cramps, check to see how much is in your multivitamin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am sure you sweat too much at the gym, and you loose a lot of salt with your sweat!. Use more salt with your food, only if you don't have high blood pressure problems!.
They disappear immediately after I take some more salt with my food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
