Righted quadrant abdominal pain...help?!
Question: Righted quadrant abdominal pain!.!.!.help!?
I started having some dull, intermittent pains in my right lower quad Monday!. It continued Tuesday as well!. I haven't had this type of pain before!. Well today at work, I began having sharp, continuous pains in my right upper quad under my ribcage!. I broke out in a sweat, and got dizzy, almost passed out and felt like I was going to vomit!. I went to the ER, because the pain was excrutiating, and no matter how I sat or stood tha pain was makin me double over!. Well, they did an ultrasound on my gallbladder and liver, but they said it was normal!. The doc recommended that I have a HIDA scan!. I just know something is wrong, and my lower right abd area is very tender!. I also told them that too!. Oh and my lab work was normal!. I'm one to never go to the doc unless something is really, really hurting so bad that I can't stand it!. Has anyone had a problem like this, where nothing showed up on the ultrasound, but you know something isn't right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A few years ago I had MASSIVE pain in the same area!.
Eating ANYTHING even drinking made is worse!.
Scans, x-rays and scopes revelled nothing!.
I was placed in hospital on a high dose Ketamine infusion, only reserved for uncontrollable pain!.
I had a CV block done to numb the nerves in that area!.
Nothing helped!.
I spent 7 weeks in hospital!.
I still get the pain, but now they think they know what is causing the pain!. My stomach has stopped functioning!. Unable to digest and empty!. But medication for increasing the stomach digestion has helped!.
It hurts right now!.
I can FULLY UNDERSTAND how frustraiting this would be!.
I am sure they will come up with some answers for you!.
