Answers:
Realization is one of the ways to make him quit smoking!.
no1nosemax has indicated one of the realization techniques!. You can start with making him realize how harmful smoking is for his health and for others who become victims of passive smoking by straight talks!.
But ultimately it is for him to gather the will to quit it!
Wish you all the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

buy a wedding magazine!.
walk into the room sobbing (not fake sobbing, real tears)!.
tell him that you have to plan your wedding without him because he won't be there to walk you down the aisle, give you away, or dance the "daddy daughter" dance!.
then tell him that's what I think about (the girl online) when I look at my boyfriend of 7 years!. my dad didn't quit, and now I have to get married without him!. and it kills me!. the thought that all he had to do was put them down!.!.!.!.!.and instead he chose to end his life instead of sharing one of the most important days of my life with me!.!.!.

sit down with him and explain all of things that you want to do with him!. all of your memories with him!? he isn't going to be able to have those with his GRANDCHILDREN!. they will grow up knowing that their grandfather let them down because he was too weak to say no!. tell him your feelings about it!. and when he walks away, tell him that this is one of the most important conversations you will EVER have with him and he NEEDS to listen!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all you need to realize that smoking is AN ADDICTION YOUR FATHER HAS and not you!!! Honestly, do you really think the only info he has heard on the topic has come from you!?!?!?!? Even though your intentions are great and very kind hearted, HE has to have the "gotta want to" in order to quit!. In the same token, I would still let him know how you feel but taking the smokes away probably only pushes him to doing it more!. You also need to brace yourself because no matter what your influence is, he is an adult, the ultimate choice is his and may never quit!!!! Good Luck!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get two white napkins!.
Tell him to take a puff into his lungs and breath out through the napkin!.
Then, tell him to take a puff only into his mouth and breath through the second napkin!.

Show him the two napkins side by side!.

One has a small light brown spot, the other will have a huge dark stain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

impossible!.
showing your disappointment is thoughtful but your in for a long battle!. an addiction cannot be broken like this because he can always buy a new pack!. give the man his cigarettes and call it a day!. a talk with him would be more sufficient because the cigarette stealing just angers him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The more you force him the harder it will be for him to quit!.he needs to be able to really really want to do it, he might say he does but he obviously doesnt if he wont!.Give him time and a few leaflets about the horrible effects of smoking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He needs to want to do this you cant force him!.!.!.If you keep on about it to him it will make him smoke more!.!.!.You expressed to him how you feel now its time for him to choose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I really don't think it's possible to get someone to quit smoking!. They have to want to do it for themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
