Pulled muscle in my chest from serving tables?!

Question: Pulled muscle in my chest from serving tables!?
I am a restaurant server and I have noticed more and more of pain in my chest (left side) and I notice it most when I am working!. Could I have a pulled muscle or something from holding trays all these years!? The pain is not really on my chest, but off to the left side like underneath and even on my armpit!. Any ideas!? Does it sound heart problem related!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
How old are you!? Do you eat a lot of fatty food!? Heart disease is usually found in people over 50, unless they are obese, eat a lot of bad food, or have high cholesterol levels!.

Heart pain can refer to other places!. We had one guy staggering around the ambulance bay (his wife had dropped him off) with left shoulder pain and he was very confused!. He had had a massive heart attack!.

Do you have any other symptoms, such as shortness of breath, and feeling cold and clammy!? If not, it is probably not a heart problem!.

My instincts say it is probably not heart-related, as it sounds like it might have been going on for a while!. There is a thing that is inflammation of the chest wall muscles, I forget what it is called, ____myelitis I think!. Or maybe you have just pulled a muscle, or have OOS (Occupational Overuse Syndrome)!. I suppose if you are using these muscles a lot you could get OOS there, although it is usually found in the wrists of people who type a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a pulled muscle, or pinched nerve in your back!. I clean for a living, and pushing commercial vacuum cleaners I get that; so I switch hands!. It's a muscular skeletal problem, you know repetitive stress!. My theory if it usual occurs when working; it's muscle related!. I am no doctor but if you look up signs and symptoms of heart problems, your description doesn't fit!. PeaceWww@Answer-Health@Com
