Question: Hyperextended ankle (how long to heal)!?
I'm pretty sure I hyperextended my ankle and I don't really know how long it takes to heal!. I'm icing and all that but if you could just say how long it usually takes that would be great thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A moderate to severe sprain can take 6-8 weeks to fully heal and you may need the use of an an ankle brace to provide additional support in order to allow for propper healing!. Consult a physician if it's not on the mend in another week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends upon the severitiy of the injury & exactly what was damaged!. Rest the ankle & see a doctor if it doesn't get better soon!. U can use thermal therapy support socks to reduce swelling & enhance healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
