Question: Do you know why LAKERIDGE HEALTH CORPORATION changed their motto from PATIENTS FIRST to!?
BETTER TOGETHER !? They realized they misspelled Patients it should have been PATIENCE FIRST!. My daughters surgery has been scheduled and rescheduled for the second time!.She originally saw her surgeon in November 2007 about her problem and she has had several attacks that put her on the ground!.She had todays surgery time rescheduled from 1p!.m to 3 p!.m!. about a week ago!.Today about an hour after her surgery should have been in progress,her surgery was cancelled!.My daughter had to book 10 days off work to cover her surgery and recovery time!.She is now scrambling to see if she can get any hours for work next week!.She now must get another surgery date scheduled,with an anticipated time for the summer!.The irony of this situation is that if she makes an appointment to see the doctor and doesn't give 24 hours notice to the doctor she is canceling she would be billed for a missed appointment MY Q!.Has anyone else had issues with the surgical department at Lakeridge health canceling surgeriesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Lakeridge recently changed the motto to Better Together
I don't know if there was any major significance to the process, however I think the hospitals were more efficient when they were all separate entities!. Services were deferred to certain hospitals!. Smaller community hospitals felt a ripple effect!. The motto should like come next time around and it is not a cheap process at all to Patients Not First!. or
