Why do i have such a hard time tring to sleep at night?!


Question: Why do i have such a hard time tring to sleep at night!?
like i will be so exuasted and tired but when i try to go to sleep i just cant seem to fall asleep at night!.!. weird!? i know!.!. but i seem to sleep better durning the day!.!.does anyone else experiance this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been a long term insomniac!. The longest I have gone without sleep, (and I mean zero sleep, no dozing at all) is five straight days!. I got heavily into benzos like valium which just made the situation worse!. Your symptoms are almost definitely stress related!. I'll bet you feel tired but not sleepy!. It feels like you have had ten cups of coffee!. There is much literature on sleep, like keep the same bedtime, drink milk, avoid a heavy meal three hours before bed, use bed only for sex and for sleep and don't read, watch t!.v in it etc!. I had some surprising success with a meditative c!.d, but not the usual type, it was called "holosync"!. I have no affiliation with the company or anything like that but for some reason it can be very calming and despite that wired feeling I would surprise myself on waking that it had made me fall asleep!. There is such a thing as "sleep disturbance" which is different from insomnia in that it means your sleep has been disturbed ie by a stressful situation and therefore can't right itself!. In these circumstances sleep medication has a place used just to change the disturbance and then the body falls back into its natural rhythm!. If you think this is the case seek help!. A sudden change in sleeping patterns can also be a sign of depression, either too much or in your case too little!. You didn't say whether you could STAY asleep once you had finally drifted off!. If you can this is good!. Make sure your room is comfortable etc!. Follow all the sleep rules, check it out on any website and BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT USING SLEEP MEDICATION, not just because it's addictive but the body loses the mechanism for falling asleep on its own!. If it IS stress, do what you can to limit the stressful cause!. There is some new research which says we have a certain time limit where we feel sleepy and should grab the opportunity then!. It comes in waves!. If you miss it, then do something calm like reading, have a bath and wait for the next period of "sleepiness"!. If the usual tecniques don't assist, get medical help!. But again BE CAREFUL OF SLEEP MEDS!. Good luck!. Insomnia is horrid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not sure why !.!. but i stay up all nigh every night until my boyfriend leaves for work in the morning!. and then i go and sleep on and off all day till he gets home!. i always try to go to bed the same time as my bf but when i get in bed all i do is lay there and go insane!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes I fall into bed, exhausted!. Other days I fall asleep okay, but I wake up a lot during the night!. Some nights I can't get to sleep at all!. I end up falling asleep very late!. Then in the day, I feel like I'm to tired to do anything!.

yah it happens to me all time, the only times can fall asleep right away is either because ive been up for 3 days or just had sex lol !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
