Question: Is it ok to take 2 aleve every 12 hours if you've been told to by a doctor!?
I recently injured my foot and was told to take more than the dose reccomended on the bottle!. I'm just wondering if it's ok or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's fine!. Aleve, which is the drug Naproxen, is an OTC med that is 250mg per tablet!. Prescription strength Naproxen comes in both 500mg per pill and 750mg per pill!. Taking two OTC pills is therefore like taking the equivalent of one prescription 500mg pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
