put your arm over your head like you're raising your hand while still putting pressure on it!. Also if you bleed through a band aid, don't take it off and replace it, just put another band aid on top of the other one so that any clotting that has started won't be disturbed!. If you lose a whole lot of blood or can't stop the bleeding after awhile you need to go to the ER they have meds they can give you for this!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Do not use peroxide!. If you cut the top of your finger is will bleed awhile as your capillaries are there!. Keep pressure on it it will stop eventually!. If you can avoid stitches try to, it messes it up and and doctors don't normally freeze it either, and it hurts big time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
