Answers:
take 2 ibuprofen then 2 hours later take 2 paracetamol then 2 hours later another 2 ibuprofen and so on to keep it topped up!. you could also get some clove oil to put on the toothWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am in pain too due to toothache! Actually I thought you had an answer to the problem!. But surely taking Paracetamol and Ibuprofen at the same time is not the solution!. Actually any drug has some degree of unwanted effects immediately, sooner or later!. Paracetamol could have effects on ones liver in the long run, ibuprufen, like aspirin could have some long term effects on your blood-clotting mechanism!. I suggest 200-400mg of Brufen could relieve some of that aching, or 500-1000 mg of Paracetamol, depending on your body build!. Taking both concomitantly does not make the situation any better!. Simply try this: see a dentist, you may be thinking it is toothache when in fact it could be some inflamation of the gums!. Find the cause of the ache and a solution will be within reach!. "Get well soon "to your hubby, if he finds a cure let me know too, I could benefit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If he is in agony, why dose't he see a dentist!? All dentists will treat tooth pain as an emergency!.
Oil of Cloves + Ibruprofen (Supermarkets have their own, cheaper brands which are the same as Nurofen)!. Read the packet for dosage!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I find the best thing for toothache is to place 2 soluble aspirin one at a time on the tooth & let it melt into it or if its a top tooth close your teeth on it till its absorbed, the pain eases quite quickly, hope that helps:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you put some oil of cloves on the tooth with a cotton bud it should help!. However, if it is infected, only antibiotics will help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
