I have a health question about my knee.?!


Question: I have a health question about my knee!.!?
when i was 14 i was doing a kata and with a motion my knee Popped very laudly!. It hurt alot!. But my leg was fine!. So i ignored it!. Within the next 3 years it only happened like 2 more times!. Also very painfull but still rare!. Lately now that i am 20 it is happening more often!. I went to see an orthapedic, he took some x rays and an mri and told me i had nothing!. Only a abnormal looseness in my knee that i should fix by lifting weights regularly and strengthening my surrounding muscles!. I have been doing so for the last 4 months and it happened again!. I have been laying off kicking and wrestling but it popped again as i was getting up off the ground yesterday!. Except this time it hurt ALOT!. Does anyone know what this is or have a similar experience!. It feels like a cramp but it pops preety laud and hurts tons!. I noticed before that it would happen more frequently when i was doing roundhouse kicks to the knee, muay thai style!. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!. thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might want to get a second opinion!. I had a similar problem like you had!. And when I went to another dr and they repeated the MRI they found out that I had a blown out ACL!. Looseness in the knee means a loose ligament!. My knee use to feel like it was moving from left to right, but it would never go out and it would make poping sounds and hurt alot when it would pop and the first orthopedic said there was nothing wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The last pop might have been a torn ligement in your knee, and the first one happen to everyone, I think (it happens to me) You laso might have dislocated your kneecap, but you'd probably notice that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe the Doctor is right, but I also believe you need to stop doing what you are doing, and further injuring the muscles!. Resting that leg is your best medicine, then begin trying to tighten those knee muscles to where they ought to be!. If you can't stop what you are doing, at least wear a knee brace that will hold it together!. Be smart and quit that kicking and whatever else you are doing, and let your knee heal!.
