Question: Why does my throat feel irritating and how can i cure it!?
Yesterday morning i woke up with an irritating dry throat!. it doesnt hurt, but it feels like theres some kind of weird salty stuff int he back of my throat!. i get it like every month and a half!. it always goes away by itself after a couple of days, and ive been getting it since i was about 5!. i never really went to the doctors or anything for it because it always went away the second or third day!. does anyone else get this irritating throat!? what is it caused by!? how can i get rid of it faster!? thanks :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter had a similar condition and was told that it was sinus drainage!. Why it is so sporadic, the doctor didn't know!. Dr!. suggested allergy meds but it seemed like overkill for an occasional dry slightly sore throat!. There's a tea, I think made by Celestial Seasonings, called Throat Cote--or a name something like that--which she uses when it happens and she has found it helpful!. It seems to happen more when the weather requires either heat or AC to be used, so she also keeps a shallow dish of water near the vent to humidify the room then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
