Put her leg in a large kitchen trash bag & duct tape around the top of the bag!.!.!.!.!.the duct tape should be taped to her skin!.!.!.!.it's waterproof!.!.!.so this should keep it dry!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get on the internet and look up cast protectors as there are a few on the market and they make life very easy!. My son races motorbikes and he broke his foot over the summer and wanting to keep fit we bought a cast protector and he was able to do laps in a swimming pool and bathe with a full cast up to his knee!. Dry Pro make one cast protector but there are others and they are really worth the money!. THey cost around $60 so it isnt much and seal the leg much like using a swimming cap that you would wear to keep your hair dry in a pool!. IF you can buy the one that has a detachable pump with draws the air out of the cover as theyare the bestWww@Answer-Health@Com

Either bag the cast and keep it out of the shower or you may have to simply resort to sponge baths until the cast is removed!. Sorry!. I had to go through this a few times in my life!. Fortunately, I had been able to keep the cast outside and had it bagged with a large trash bag and duct tape to keep it dry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wrap it in plastic and makes sure no water gets in it has to be waterproof!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

U can buy special bags for casts!. Other than that you're probably going to have to take a sponge bath!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
