Question for medical professionals?!

Question: Question for medical professionals!?
I had surgery in December to drain a huge abcess caused by anti perspirant usage!. I had my final post surgical checkup about 6 weeks ago!. I told the surgeon that I had just begun experiencing pain in the area that he had cut!. He assured me that it was fully healed and that the pain was resulting from stress!. I am studying for a major exam and I am due to take it in a few days!. He knows this!. In any event, I have continued to feel the pain off and on!. I would rate it at about a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10!. I think he is a skilled doctor with a good attitude!. So, my question is, as far as you know, is it normal for me to feel pain in this area 6 months after the surgery!? Or should I schedule another appointment with him and make a bigger issue out of it!. The pain isn't severe but it is quite noticeable!. I am embarking on a medical career myself and I'm not quite sure how seriously I should take this!.

I am a nurse and I would be very concerned that this area is causing you a pain of 6-7!. that is some intense pain!. if you are a student in the medical field yourself then you know that this is not normal and i would get a second opinion!.good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As an owner of a medical company I would go to a acupuncturist that is skilled with scar tissue formation and energy in the body!. Should work in one visit if they are good!.

Eat lots and lots of blue berries!.!.!. this will help ease the pain ( I eat froxen if necessary)!.

Good luck!. Its not all in your head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
