muscle cramping is caused mainly from poor blood circulation to the muscle, overuse, and depletion of electrolytes or minerals!. Calcium is vital to muscle function!. If you are exercising too much and not eating properly, you can get cramps!. Or if you have significant varicose veins and the blood is not moving in and out of your veins, you can get cramping!. There are also some medication, commonly ones called statins used to lower cholesterol, that can cause muscle pain and cramps!. Yes, lack of magnesium is a cause!.
