I have a pain in my jaw...?!

Question: I have a pain in my jaw!.!.!.!?
like the title says!.!.!.
my jaw clicks sometimes, but it is not painful,
an orthodontist said just to not chew gum,
i have a pain in my jaw in front of my ear,
when i blow my nose, my cheek area kind of hurts,
i have this annoying throbbing headache,
but it is not too severe,
just enough so i cant concentrate on homework or anything,
ive read around so im well aware of the possibilities,
but i wanted to ask you guys first,
my mom insists its some sort of "growing pain,"
im 14,
no wisdom teeth yet,
wonder if it is wisdom teeth, tmd, or an ear infection!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Pain and feeling of jaw clicking ,basically two reasons
1,overstretching of fascial muscle
2,tm joint dislocation
in your case more look like overstreching
so dont open your mouth too wide
no chewing gum
Iam sure these things will workWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. I went to and ENT and a dentist because my jaw felt like it needed to be cracked and sometime would pop!. They said its TMJ also known as lock jaw!. It got so bad that it started to mess with my ears and cause me to get somewhat dizzy, I also got headaches like right at the temples!. do you grind at night or clench your teeth alot!? I didnt think that I did either until, one day I got really mad and I felt how strong I was biting down!. Now I take motrin and also put a heat pad on my jaw, this helps me a lot!. If you do grind go to the dentist or walgreen to buy a mouth guard!. walgreens has it for $20 but might not be so comfortable, but the dentist will charge alot (into the hundreds) however will be more comfortable!. either way try motrin and heat pad and if needed see a doctor to get it checked out!.!.!.!.!. and try to pay attention to how much you keep your jaw clenched and try to catch yourself and relax!. and for sure stay away from gum!.!.!. hope this helps!.!.!.!.!.
