Was this a tick?!

Question: Was this a tick!?
I came out of the shower and after about 5 minutes I noticed a small spider on the floor!. I took a tissue paper and squished it, but found that it made a mess of blood when I squished it!. I'm not sure if this was just a spider or a tick!. I can't remember if I've ever seen a spider smear blood when you squish it!? Also, I was at a park for about 2 hrs today, so I don't if that could be a factor!? I didn't even know it was there (if possible) and did not notice any discomfort!.

If it was a tick, should I be doing something else even after it's gone!? Do they leave behind eggs in your hair or any thorns or markings!? Could there be more than one!? I really don't know!. I've never had a tick in my hair before!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
was not a tick!. Ticks have large bodies and tiny feet and their bodies are made up of a hard shell which protects them!. I've seen them many times and had em on me twice!. You cannot squish them easily!. They are just like lice and you just may be able to squish it with a hard surface such as maybe a shoe!. But with a tissue in your hand, it is not possible!. You have nothing to worry about!. It was just a spider and if blood did squeeze out of it, then there could be a chance it was a blood sucker or just its own guts!. Shouldn't be more, nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't really tell what you saw, but an engorged tick is round with tiny legs!. A spider is exactly that!.!.you know what those look like!. No, I never heard of a tick leaving eggs after it's been squashed!. Just flush the paper down the toilet!. yuck!.

Being outside in this warmer weather does allow bug to become attached to hair, skin or clothing!. Usually it's nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It wouldn't have been a tick, because they don't just fall off of a person, even when showering!. I would say it was a house spider and nothing more!. Think nothing more about it, you are just fine young lady!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ticks are VERY hard to kill!. I have never been able to easily squish one with a tissue!. You generally have to use your fingernails or a rock or something, so I doubt it was a tick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it probably wasnt a tick!. ticks generally have an extremly hard outer shell and are sometimes very hard to squish!. chances are it was proably a spider!. no worriesWww@Answer-Health@Com

As long as it wasn't attached to you, you are fine!. Spiders can smear blood, but ticks don't usually unless they were attached earlier!. You are fineWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ticks are parasites which do feed on blood!.

The mouth parts are designed to keep them attached and the blood flowing into them at a nice rate for them!.

When removed but force, the mouth parts often stay behind and let the blood continue flowing!.

If you are not bleeding in any unusual place, I shouldn't worry - it probably wasn't attached!.

If you are bleeding, ask someone to have a close look with a magnifying glass to see if the blood just keeps pumping out!. If it does, place a gauze pad on the area and just go to the hospital as infection can be likely!.

Although it will only take a few moments to remove the mouth parts, it may require a stitch!.

For the second point!. spiders can produce a red blood trail, though typically a yellow stain is more visible as this is part of the web spinning anatomy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
