Question: What should I do about a thorn in my hand !?!?!?
I have a long thorn in my hand it for about a month now and if i press I can feel it still it there!. It is in a bubble of puss but it has sealed over despite my digging with needles etc and I have poulticed it for nights at a time but it hasn't appeared!. Should I go and have it taken out or will it be absorbed!?!?!? :-{Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well in the long run, as long as u are cleaning the "wound" and making sure it does not get infected it should be fine!. although the puss around it and over it may not be a good thing!. Try and drain that away to make sure the healing cells in your body can work properly!.

please have it removed!. the torn will not dissolve nor absorb by your body!. the pus will continue to accumulate resulting to an abscess, and if this continues you'll eventually get more sick!. it could even lead to bacteremia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i'd go & get it removed!. all that digging with needles can't be doing any good!. chances are, it will gradually come out of its own accord, but you're risking infection in the mean time!. it'll hurt less if a nurse does it too! diane!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you have tried all of that with no results it's better to see a Dr!. He or she can do their magic and prescribe an antibiotic to cure it from the inside out!. Do it before they have to amputate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
