Yes, they are definitely possible!. I get them sometimes!. Gargling with warm salt water generally helps!. (you can gargle several times a day) Chloraseptic offers some relief, but I tend to prefer salt water!.
The pain is a lot like a sore throat!.
Most of the time, I get them if I'm under a lot of stress or eat/drink a lot of acidic foods like tomato sauce or orange juice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not a canker sore!. It is probably the same virus that causes tonsilitis, you just no longer have the tonsils!. Or possibly strep throat!.
If you start feeling bad, and get a fever, see a doctor to rule out strep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

afraid so - gargle with salt water and take painkillers!. you can still get a throat infection which causes sores at site of tonsilsWww@Answer-Health@Com
