I fractured my toe. its been like a MONTH?!


Question: I fractured my toe!. its been like a MONTH!?
so i fractuered my toe like !.!. a month ago!.
it turned purpleish blue, so i went to the hospital and they put a heatted needle on the toenail!. Lots of blood came out, but it was still purple!. the doc!. said my toenail would fall off, but it didnt!. a week later, it felt all better but looked nasty!. still purple! i had to go on a ffeiled trip, near the ocean!. so i had my sneakers on, and i look down after beeing in salty water for like an hour, and blood is EVERYWERRE!. i quicklly take my sock and shoes off and i see my toenail was bleeding, and it didnt look purple!. but 30 mins later it was purple again!.

AND today it is STILLLL purple and the tonail hasnt fallen off!.

will it EVER go away!?

I had a purple big toe nail for a few months from kicking it!. It would bleed and it hurt and eventually it DID fall off!. But I didnt have a fracture, so maybe you should go see a doctor again and just make sure everything is ok!.

Your doctor can always take your toenail off himself!. My doctor offered to do it for me but i freaked out and let it fall off itself!.

the needle relieved the pressure of the hematoma but you should put something cold on it and some meat tenderizer on it to relieve the bruisingWww@Answer-Health@Com

omg see i fractured my toe on valentines week and i didnt go to the hospital to get it fix im sorry i dont know what to say except go back to your doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The salt water probably irritated it!. You could call the E!.R!. and speak w/a nurse to see abt!. the purple color!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
