I have trouble sleeping at night and often resort to taking advil PM's to he!


Question: I have trouble sleeping at night and often resort to taking advil PM's to help me sleep!?
but im not in pain a lot of the time!.!.!. i just can't fall asleep!. it happens about 3 or 4 times a week and i will be restless all night unless I take an advil PM or some kind of sleep aid!. what do I do!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

try herbal stuff first, like valaria root or even melatonin in small dosed can help "shut you down" quicker and easier than an actual sedative like the advil or tylenol PM!. Don't be afarid to try a small glass of warm milk!.!.!. I really have a strict schedule to thank for solving my insomnia!. a good 20- 30 minute light and easy stretching session, no jumping jacks, trying more for slow deep breathing and pushing some waste and toxins in your blood towards the liver and kidneys really helps right before bed!. look up yoga relaxation on the net you'll get 100 good stretches!. I also recommend no eating at least 3 hours before sleep time!. getting up at the same time every day, and getting right into a healthy breakfast within 15 or 20 minutes after that initial alarm, actually make it a point to "break-the-fast", with a real meal!. watch the sugars in your last meal, not much if any something about sugar halting up your release of certain hormones, provided you are still processing them at sleeptime!. also no caffeine after 4 pm!. hope this helps --billWww@Answer-Health@Com

you should take a look at your room and even your home!. Do you have alot of clutter in your home!? This can cause stress on you and keep you from sleeping!. try using feng shui in your home!. you can get a kit they have one for health it really opens your eyes to you surroundings!. There are some websites that describe calming activities to do before bedtime to help you sleep!. You should definitely be cutting out stimulants such as caffeine from your diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
