Lower back pain linked to scoliosis?!

Question: Lower back pain linked to scoliosis!?
I was diagnosed with slight scoliosis when I was younger!. I've never had any trouble only slight discomfort when sitting on certain types of chairs etc!.
However lately I'm been getting VERY uncomfortable lower back pains if I am standing in a spot for more than five minutes!. Someone told me it could be my flat footwear but I'm wondering could my scoliosis have anything to do with it!?!?!.!.!.and if so, any tips on how to ease this pain!? (I sit at a desk in work all day also)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't state your age or what kind of shape you are in!. This becomes important because if you are out of shape and carrying extra weight it places a large stress upon the lower back!. Having said that there is another area that must be looked at, your chair and desk!. The chair should be adjustable, with arms, swivel, and hopefully a high back!. Your feet should be flat on the floor with the knees just slightly above the level of the hips!. If the chair has a lumbar support adjust that to the area that is bothering you!. If it doesn't then take a hand towel and fold it into thirds length wise and roll it up!. Place rubberbands at each end and place that in the area that is bothering you!. Sit up straight while in the chair!. Your arms should hang freely at your sides and the keyboard should be tiered like a typewriter or hopefully an ergonomic one!. If not then get a wrist bar for the front of the keyboard!. See a physical therapist who can work on posture with you and make the corrections as needed!. While seated at work take breaks at least once an hour and sit up straight and slowly bring your shoulders backwards attempting to have the shoulder blades meet!. Then try and pull them down towards the chair!. This will help to take some of the pressure off the upper body and by extension the lower back!. You also need to be on a program to strengthen the core muscles of the body to make you a more fit person!. Again this will all be done by a physical therapist!. Interesting enough most people have a small scoliosis and it is not going to cause problems!. Without knowing your age there is also the possibility of having some degenerative changes in the lower back that could also be causing the pain!. If your state doesn't have direct assess to physical therapy then see your family doctor and ask for a referral!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should get one of those back pillows for your chair at work, try Dr!. Scholl's shoe gels and get a memory foam pillow for sleeping!.

I used to have trouble with my neck and lower back everyday and nothing was wrong with me!. The doctor couldn't find anything wron all he could do was prescribe me pain meds!.
The memory pillow allowed me to sleep correctly and kept my back aligned evenly!. I am on my feet for most of the day and I wear flats with gel inserts and my feet feel great!. While being pregnant I used the pillows for on my work chair and they give you an added support like none other!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
