i have pulled my hamstring muscle while doing the splits,it doesnt hurt when i am walking on if i attempt to do the splits it hurts,it has been about 6 weeks now but it still hurts when i do the splits,please give me any ideas to help it heal faster,cause i dont want to forget to do cartwheels(it also hurts when i do it),handstands,or the splits,it was the first time i did the splits,i tjink thats the reason i pulled the muscle,

i havent seen a doctor or have taken an x-ray

please help me to help my thigh heal faster

This sounds like you have activated your muscle spindles which are fibers in a muscle that protect it from too much stretch!. You probably tore those muscle fibers when you went to the splits!. You need to stretch this soreness in your in thigh by stretching for 15 secs should help in flexibility in doing the splits again and easing the pain!. What I suggest to do as far as stretching this out is sit on the ground and pull both legs out to the side to where it is comfortable and not where it hurts then try to bring your self down the middle my stretching your hands out in front of you and breath deeply do not hold your breath and make sure you are comfortable with a slight stretching sensation!. Then you can lay down on the floor and pull your knee into your chest then extend leg up in air and use both hands behind thigh and pull in to feel stretch in your hamstrings(muscle below your butt)!. Do This each leg!. You can also lunge to one side and feel the stretch on the opposite inner thigh! Keep doing stretches and soon it should heal but it will take time so don't force anything and be patient!. Hope this helps a little!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Before you do anything like the splits, you should warm up your muscles first with some exercises!. I think your muscles were cold, so I can imagine how sore your hamstring must be!. The hamstring is a pretty big muscle - so warm showers and keeping the muscle relaxed should help - If its still sore, then its still healing so dont force it, you could hurt yourself even more!. You wont forget how to cartwheel, I promise!. Give yourself another 10 days without trying to push yourself!. Always warm up those muscles first!. I'm sure you'll be doing your flick flacks etc very soon!.

See a doctor is my first advice!. If you do not get professional treatment for your problem, it will only continue to get worse!. Make this happen anyway possible!.

In the mean time, I suggest bathing in warm bath and invest on purchasing icy hot!. Your main goal though, should be ot see a doctor!. If it still hurts after 6 weeks, that should speak for itself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Muscle injuries are always very slow to heal fully!. You have to be patient, and be careful what you do for a while!. Looks like you probably severely strained or maybe torn your hip flexers!. That group of muscles in particular is more prone to injury and takes long to heal!. There is not getting around it!. Go to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Use some over the counter creams for muscles, bengay etc, and SLOWLY stretch the muscle out!. Dont force it!.
Motrin/Ibuprophin may help with some inflammation and comfort!.!.!. I've done that too, just gotta stretch them muscles before you strain them all!.

Hi i am sorry to hear that here are a few tips:
Do not move a lot!.
Try to Rest
Go for a X-Ray I had to when I broke my toe I never new till I went
Drink some pain pills and put on a some cream for the pain!.

You should probably see a doctor!.!.!. but in the meantime, have you tried resting the muscle for a few days!? Try resting your thigh on a heating pad, too!. That might help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most likely to be a minor fracture and so the best way to heal quickly is to apply some ice every so often and don't put too much pressure on it!.!.!.!.ie minimal movementWww@Answer-Health@Com
