i was just wondering becuase sometime when i cant fall asleep i try to fall asleep with my ipod on

Answers:
That is not okay because your brain is not totally asleep during those times since it still hears something!. I suggest that just play natural sounds (like ocean waves) on your cd player, of course with the big speakers, not with the speakers, when you can't fall asleep!.Also, sleep with a dim light, it will help you relax!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Using your ipod to help fall asleep is a great idea! Try to use soothing and relaxing music rather than your normal tunes!.

Relaxation podcasts are available for free on itunes that you can load on to your ipod!. When you search in podcasts, use terms like meditation, relaxation, or new age!. You will find lots of choices!.

It is a good idea to make one or two meditations a habit by using as soon as you go to bed for about a week!. Then if you have trouble falling asleep, just knowing that you have a familiar sound that will relax you and put you to sleep right away will be reassuring!. I find myself hearing only the first few sentences before I drift off to sleep!. Very soothing!

Good luck in you search for a good night's sleep!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do not recommend wearing your head phones while sleeping!. You can get tangled in the wires and you do not have control over the sound that is pumping straight to your ears!.
Get an iHome!. I got one as a Christmas gift and I love it!. Connect your ipod and set the sleeper, set the play list and drift of to whatever you want!. And when it is time to get up, you can set the alarm to play the ipod!. If you set your sleeper, the alarm will play where the sleeper left off!. The music starts off low and slowly gets louder until you get up!. I love it!. No more annoying EEEP EEEP EEEP!.

And the clock display has a handy back light that has several shades!. Bright to dark!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

omg, i do the same thing, but my ipod turns off after 10 or 20 minutes, so ikdWww@Answer-Health@Com
