You need to allow the muscle cells to repair!. They won't repair if they are tight or strained!. If you have a muscle relaxer take it and go to bed, if not take ibuprofen, drink a lot of water and get rest!. Time will heal it!. Ice or heat to ease the discomfort!. Rest the muscle, I believe that when the muscle is feeling normal again it would be wise to strengthen it to avoid strain!. Talk to your doctor and he/she should be able to recommend exercises that would be safe for you once you are 100% again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
