Question: Is it normal for ankle sprain to pop!?
its been 2 weeks and like the base of my foot hurts when i walk like a load of pressure!. and then my ankle pops alot every other day or every day!. I never wore a ace banadage I am 13 first time having one!. My dad knows so dont say ask parent!. No I wont go to doctorsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well usually when you sprain your ankle you injury a ligament or some cartlige tissue but with good rest and ice it should heal, I would recammend you buy a ankle support only cost a few bucks to protect it from further damage!. And yes it is normal for your ankle to pop when injured!. Trust me I know what your going thru!.
I broke my ankle in two places and had to get surgery on it got two screws into my ankle and a cast for three months, yeah sucked!. And its been a little less then a year and it pops about every 5 minutes!.

Well, it is normal for it to hurt for a while but it should be starting to heal around now, especially with how young you are!. I suggest that if you won't see a doctor, that you at least practice the RICE treatment!. This acronym stands for:
Rest - Try to use your ankle as little as possible!. Don't walk or use crutches, if possible!.
Ice - Using ice packs for 10-20 minutes can help with swelling, although that should be gone by now!.
Constriction - You should definitely invest in an ace bandage to help it heal!.
Elevation - Put your leg up on the couch or something like that!.

i remember mine poped when i sprained mine i put ice on it and kept it elevated and when i had to walk i invested in a cane to take the weight off that foot!. it took about 3 weeks to a month to get well just depends how bad the sprain is!. hope you feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i play college soccer so i frequently sprain my ankles!. and yes it is normal my ankles pop almost everytime i walk up stairs but my advice is get an ace bandage, ice it and make ibuprofen your new best friend :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, maybe u broke a lil bone and no one knew ive broken my ankle 6 times before and now when i walk it pops but thts after 6 times so idk you should really go to the doctor before it gets worse!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You might want try get a bandage or brace!. I had to wear a brace for about 2 months after spraining mine because I didn't let it heal properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
