It is important to replace your cigarettes with healthy foods, and enough foods at meal times!. Five to six small meals a day will help you immensely!. It is also important to avoid junk food- the sugar and salt content do not help when you are trying to quit an addiction!. Eat green vegetable- lots of salad and drink plenty of water between meals will fill you up, but more importantly these foods will flush your body of the chemicals stored there from years of smoking!. Make sure each meal has a protein, carb, and good fats!. Also, are you taking vitamins!? A good multiple, plus B complex, 1000-1500 mg!. Vit!. C, 25,000 iu Beta Carotene and Vit!. E will help restore the body!. Look at the work of Dr!. Elsen Haas on detoxifying from smoking and other detox diets!. As a nutritionist, I use Dr!. Haas' work!. Take walks and breathe in and out from your diaphragm- not just from your chest!. Rest when you are tired, and then walk back to where you started!. Don't push yourself because you will stress out and set up conditions that invite a relapse!. Hope this is helpful!. Be well!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cigarettes are great appetite suppressants!.Not to mention if your hands are busy smoking you can't pick up a donut and eat it!.

But the fact that you will get cancer and die outweighs you gaining a little weight for the sake of giving u cigarettes!.The less addicted you get the more normal your eating habits will become!.Your body is just adjusting!.Try replacing a smoke with a walk around the block,or a run!.Substitute when you normally would smoke with some form of exercise, instead of grabbing something to eat!

And congrats on quitting!Www@Answer-Health@Com
