Insomnia, Please help!?!

Question: Insomnia, Please help!!?
I have the tendency to keep myself awake although I'm exhausted!. In reality if I just put my head on the pillow, I would be asleep in 2 seconds!. I'm 22 years old, and attend an Ivy league University, if this insomnia continues, my grades will suffer, not to mention I may be out of a job!. How can I get myself to relax and go to bed at a decent hour (like before midnight)!? There's never enough hours during the day for those who work and go to school!. I think I keep myself awake at night, because there is still so much that I have to do, and I feel bad if I don't accomplish them all!. I need to relax, and start going to bed at a certain time each night!. What can I do to get myself motivated for bed!? Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start a bedtime routine, quiet room, very little stimulation (such as TV or video games), relaxing music!. Avoid caffeine throughout the day!. Read before you go to bed if it makes you sleepy and put it in your head that you will go to sleep at a certain time!. If you plan on being asleep by midnight make your bedtime 11, that way if you want to be asleep by midnight you have an hour to do it!.

The only thing that gets me to sleep is if i listen to music and visual stuff along with the music!. The usual i get really relaxed and tired and fall asleep easy!.

On the rare nights this doesnt work, i watch TV in the dark!. The brightness of the screen hurts my eyes which makes them want to close and for some reason helps me get to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
