I have provided a link below that illustrates Spondylolysis!. Spondylolysis is where, due to genetics or to injury, the part of the vertebra that "locks the spine in place" is absent or broken!. The most dangerous thing is that this can progress to Spondylolisthesis!. That is where one vertebra slips out of place!. If the slippage is very severe, then it can cause nerve damage, pain, and even paralysis!. My personal recommendation would be to be very cautious about engaging in contact sports!. You don't want to have back pain for the rest of your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

does your college scholarship depend on it!?
does any important recommendadtion depend on it!?

if no, DO NOT PLAY!
I am still suffering from a sport injury because of a greedy coach who only cared about winning!.

I had a disloacted shoulder!!!!! In a sling!!!!
And my coach wanted me to play!.
There were five 2nd string players who could have filled in for me!. All healthy and with two arms! All five just dying for a chance to play!.

This was wrestling!.

I had the coach fired after I further injured my shoulder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should definitely contact your physician about this!. No one here is familiar with your case in order to advise you properly!.

Get advice from those most familiar with your situation!. Otherwise, you run the risk of injuring yourself further!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
