Answers:
Congratulations and well done for not cutting now!.

Because the scar is a smooth red line, it sounds like it is healing well, and in time will just be a fine white line, barely visible!. If you can get it, rose hip oil promotes healing and lessens scarring!. Try shops stocking health and beauty products!.

When you are older, laser treatments are also an option if the scar is still of concern!.

In the meantime, if you ever feel the need to cut again, try remembering how bad you have felt while this cut has been healing, and try to direct your feelings into less harmful activity!. Try writing or drawing or drama, for example!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

probably, but it will become less noticeable!.

there are products on the market that say they heal scars, the only one that i have found that actually worked well is La Mer!. ( I think, might be Le Mer)
but it is hideously expensive!. Try going on ebay, and getting the trial sizes, sometimes called packettes/paquettes!.

Sorry, the price will probably make you gasp!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will fade eventually but it will take a while!. Your age will work in your favour!

Remember, your skin is constantly shedding, so if it wasnt too deep you will probably find it wont be visible within a few months!.

Having said that, I did this when I was 16 (10 yrs ago) and even now when its cold or Im in a certain light I can see the scar!.

Try not to worry about it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would expect so!. I have a scar on my elbow where I had a bad fall (my bone was showing so I think it was pretty bad) and a scar on my wrist where I had a somewhat bad scratch!. It may depend on how bad the cut is though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it was deep it is probally going to be a scar and most probally will be there and wont go if it has already healed then it is a scar, its really something you have to live wid=S

but it is most defo a scar sorry=/Www@Answer-Health@Com
