What are these pains?!
Question: What are these pains!?
Okay, so I'm a 15 year old girl and I'm getting really weird pains in my neck, back, shoulders, arms, and occassionally they move to my chest!.
It's hard to explain the way it feels!. It's not a shooting pain that makes you want to cry, but it's annoying and uncomfortable!.
However, today I had a shooting pain in my neck, just behind my ear!.
They usually stay for 10-15 minutes at a time and then go away!. I get them every day!.
Could if have something to do with me sleeping wrong!? Because I always sleep on my left shoulder!.
Also, there is a history of heart problems in my family!. Could this be causing the chest pain!?
I also have slight Pectus Carinatum, which is the opposite of Pectus Excavatum!. My breast bones bows slightly outward, but you can't tell unless I lay down!. Could this be causing the chest pain!?
This just started happening about a month or two ago!. I exercise regularly and am healthy!.
I've had bloodwork done twice this year, because I've had two oral surgeries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The TMJ- temporomandibular joint- is the joint at which the jaw is hinged to the skull!. Painful TMJ problems occur in people who overuse or abuse this joint through teeth grinding, constant clenching and unclenching of the jaw, or excessive gum chewing!. Sometimes people are born with a misalignment of the jaw that can bring on similar symptoms!.
Because the neck and the TMJ are so closely connected, the TMJ can cause neck pain-and vice versa!. In some cases a dentist may need to create an oral retainer to allow the joint to rest and let healing begin!.
