You should be fine! A paracetamol overdose is very unlikely in this case - you need to take more than 4 g of paracetamol before it's considered an overdose (that's 8 tablets per day)!. You've only taken 5 - so you should be fine!.

Having wind in your stomach is quite natural - you can get it from eating certain foods - kidney beans are a good example! Eating spicy foods like chilli can make the problem worse as well!. If you feel better after going to the toilet, chances are that things are fine!. Hope you feel better soon!

The recommended adult single dose of paracetamol is two standard 500 mg tablets!. Research shows that the common threshold for liver damage to occur from a single paracetamol overdose is 15 gms (30 tablets) although standard hospital guidelines allow an extra safety margin and assume liver damage could occur at a single overdose of 24 standard tablets or 150 mg/kg body weight, whichever is the smaller!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm sure you are fine, you did not overdose, however, if you are feeling ill since taking paracetemol, i suggest seeing your doctor now! it might be worth trying to be sick (i know its umpleasent) but just to try and get some of it up!. Hope you feel better, and go see doctor now, i urge you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
