Where can I find a hinged knee brace??!
Question: Where can I find a hinged knee brace!?!?
I tore my MCL a few weeks ago and I really need to find a good hinged knee brace!. I was looking online, but I was hoping to find one at a store somewhere so that I can actually *see* just what I am getting!.
Does anyone know where I could find something like this!?!? I live right in Minneapolis, so I'm sure there's a store around here somewhere that has one, I just can't think of what type of store would sell them (other than a medical supply store, where you pay through the nose!.!.!.)
PS: I'm not talking about the flimsy neoprene knee wraps!.!.!. I need something with a hinge for side-to-side stabilization!. If I get one through my clinic, it costs a couple hundred and I *know* I can get one for cheaper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter has had knee problems and we were able to find a hinged knee brace in the bigger sporting goods stores!. Academy Sports, Dick's etc!.!.!. They were almost identical to the one the Ortho prescribed for her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There's an old saying that says, "You get what you pay for!." This can be especially true when it comes to your health and well-being!. The type of knee brace you describe is expensive!. That's all there is to it!. Maybe you can try to buy one secondhand!?

If you google 'thermoskin' and go on to their website and have a look at their hinged knee brace and see if its what you want!.

Welll what you should do is go see your doctor that told you you tore your MCL and he can find you hinged knee brace cheaper then you'll find one online!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
