They didn't say they did it on purpose!. Any open wound will sting or burn when introduce to air or water etc!.!.!. because your nerves are exposed to germs and bacteria!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It stung because soap and/or shampoo got into the cut!. Also, the water pressure in your shower could have been a factor!. Water moving faster has a greater impact and that could have contributed to the stinging!.

Probably because when you cutted yourself, with whatever you used, it was infected!. Put alcohol on it, or rinse it with water, before it gets more infected!. Then put a band-aid on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
