Does primary intention consist entirely of re-epithelialisation?!

Question: Does primary intention consist entirely of re-epithelialisation!?
Answers:
When we close a wound with sutures, steri-strips, or glue, (primary intention) the wound closes all the layers of the dermis, not just the superficial or epithelial layer!. Letting a wound heal by secondary intention means that the layers of the demis have to grow and fill in from the bottom up!. Secondary intention is used when the wound is dirty or too old to close by primary intention!.

Addendum: Fibroblasts and capillaries migrate into the wound!. The fibroblasts lay down collagen and help to "pull" the wound together!. This is known as granulation tissue!. Second, epithelial cells migrate to the surace and lay down new skin!. Finally, other deep dermal structures like nerve endings finish growing into the new scar!. Sweat glands and hair follicles may not!.

If the cut is deep, then epithelial cells may grow down into the wound, leaving a dent!. But the fibroblasts will continue to grow and work and so, gradually, the scar will elevate and fill in the defect!. I have provided a link that explain and illustrate this!.I tried to include one from Wikipedia but for some reason, Yahoo doesn't like Wikipedia!. They have a very good discussion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doc, Rarely, would I see a doctor for cut unless I was out!. I do not know the number of scars, I have!. But if I get to it within two hours, it is primary intention, otherwise, secondary!. Rarely, do I cover them, unless I am wearing clothes!. As medicine, only the first time!. As to broken bones, fracture or crack tape ribs, decrease usage of an arm or leg!. Complete broken, collar bone, might see a doctor, if I need time off of work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Can anyone translate this question into something people who aren't doctors can understand!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
