is it a wisdom tooth!? It would depend if it is just coming in (though some people don't have pain with teeth coming in) or if there is an infection!. If there's an infection it will be red, swollen, it may bleed easily, etc!. If there's an infection, brush real good and rinse/gargle with warm salt water!. It will help with the swelling and the pain!. Make an appt with the dentist for an evaluation!. Sometimes, it may just be coming in and the pain is from where you may not have enough room in your mouth (impacted teeth), in which case they will remove it!. Typically, they give you a pain killer, ranging from a normal extraction- novacaine to cutting the gums- general or local anestesia (sp!?)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm with Missions2008!. If they do have to pull ur teeth, it WON'T HURT A BIT! I had 5 teeth pulled @ the same time and it did'nt hurt! First they give u a shot (barley hurts) to make ur mouth num, then they wait a little bit then they pull ur tooth or teeth out!. You'll probably feel a little pressure when they try 2 pull ur tooth or teeth out but don't worry it won't hurt so stop worring! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would go to the dentist if i was you you might not have to get it pulled it could just be an absess or someething like that just don't worry it'll be okay=)Www@Answer-Health@Com
