What else could be wrong ?!


Question: What else could be wrong !?
got an MRI (brain & spine) and saw a nerologist, my results came up normal, I had an incident 3 months ago where it felt like i had a really bad pinched nerve!. I had sever numbnesss in my back that radiate dup my head arms and face along with strong muscle pain!. after 3 weeks it got better but, i still wake up every day with back pain and pronblems with my nerves that feel like small electrical shocks through out my body :( !? i 'm very frustrated, with whats going on having numbness in my back , finger tips, arms, etc!. i thought for sure they would see something on the MRI , like a pinched nerve or herniated disc !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? what else can be up with me !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.they ruled out MS and its been three months now that this has been going on !.!.!.!.!.!.what should i do !?Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
If you are continuing to have neurological type symptoms, then it might be worth doing a repeat MRI (take the old films with you for comparison)!.

If this shows nothing, then an ultrasound of the thoracic area of your back may show soft tissue damage which may be causing the problems!.

If you feel comfortable with the neurologist you saw before, then see that person again!. Otherwise, ask for a second opinion!.

Physiotherapy or hydrotherapy may help, and it may pay to have your spine checked for curvature problems, like scoliosis, which may not necessarily be reported on in an MRI!.

Perhaps you could also see if there are any hospitals in your area that specialise in neurology, and phone or see them for a second opinion!.
