Question: My boyfriend is sick and unbelievably stubborn!!!!?
My boyfriend has been sick about 3 times over the past few months!. This time, he has been laid up, with a high fever for two days and he's not getting any better!. He's all stuffed up and has bodyaches!. He works "under the table" and does not have health insurance!. I told him to go to a medical clinic to see a doctor, but he refuses!. What can I do to help him get better!? Or, better yet!.!.!.!.how can I convince him to see a doctor!? I'm started to get a little concerned that there is more than just the flu going on here!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call and consult a pharmacist!. Tell him what symtoms your boyfriend has a he may be able to recommend some medicine!. But if doesnt want to go to the doctor, you wont be able to make him unless it gets extremely bad!. Hemay not want to pay for the doctor visit, or he just doesnt like doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well ,as far as you are not feeling frustrated and trapped you have to try to change his mind !. but if it'd really irritating to you just dump him and go for someone more hunky and healthy !. Life is too short so we should not waist that trying to persuade others to do whatever !. the most important person in the whole world is YOU at first !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If he is an adult, then all you can do is watch him die!. He's only running a bigger chance of being put in the hospital if he puts off getting it treated!. Oh well!. He will learn what being stubborn gets him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!
I know you are devastated and want to help him but you CAN'T make a horse drink water!. I ussually phoned the doctor and told him about all the aches and pains and he prescribed the medicines!. So my Hubby had a real easy life, no sitting and waiting for doctors, while his wife had to sweet talk everybody to get him the medicine he needed!. I did put my foot down I do not phone for his presciptions anymore and if he gets sick I leave him till he can't take it anymore (PS NO MORE TLC!!!!)(tough love) then he will ask me to make an appointment!. Then I'll phone and tell the doctor to check his blood pressure, sugar levels and EVERYTHING he was complaining about!. It really works!Www@Answer-Health@Com
