Question: How do you know if a burn is infected!?
about a week ago, i burned the top part of my foot, when my curling iron fell!. it blistered and popped, but now i have a lot of pain still!. at first it was really itchy i applied ointment and put bandages on it!. just yesterday i wore regular shoes, but now my whole foot hurts!. right now it is a open wound that appears as though it it trying to heal itself!. the part that worries me is the pain!. what should i do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you burn on foot top it is and blisters is seen there , it is second degree burn !. it extend through epidermis into dermis !. is is salmon pink and most , shiny , and painful !. it will take to heal from 7-21 days !. and after healing also scar and pigmentation will seen !. you wore shoes that make rupture of blister !. better you use silver sulfide cream !. Cover the burn with a clean (sterile, if possible), dry, non fluffy bandage such as a gauze pad!. Do not put tape on the burn!.Do not remove clothing if it is stuck to the burn!.See your doctor immediately if you have fever or pus like drainage from the burned area
