Dude, am I going deaf in my right ear?!

Question: Dude, am I going deaf in my right ear!?
I went to a heavy metal concert last month and well!.!.!. I didn't wear earplugs, regrettably!. I came home and was half deaf for the night!.

Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night!. I was laying on my right ear and when I rolled over, I couldn't hear very well out of it for a few seconds, as if I had water in it!. I kept testing, pressing my ear with my finger to make sure I wasn't just drowsy and imagining things!.!.!. It still happened!.

Now that I've been standing up for a while, it doesn't happen anymore, but I do notice I hear a little better in my left than my right ear!.

Should I have a doctor check it out!?
Do you think it's temporary!?

(Lesson learned: wear earplugs next time I go to a metal show)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it could be from the concert but you could also have a ceruman impaction!. This is heavy wax build up in the ear that CAN block conduction of sound waves through that ear canal!. I would go to the doctor and have em look inside!. If it is an impaction it is a simple 'flushing' of the ear with water and usually peroxide!. They may use little tools to assist them in removing the wax but should be painless unless your canal is irritated!.

you should be seeing an ear specialist by now!. your eardrums must have been affected by the loud noise during that metal concert that you have attendedWww@Answer-Health@Com
