Water on the brain?!
Question: Water on the brain!?
Please do pray! My husband just called me from work because his mother called him!. His Florida brother's oldest grandson (a few months older than Jamila) had a bad fall & has sustained bleeding on his brain!.
I really know nothing more !.!.!. but it sure makes me thankful for the health of my daughters & causes me to pray for their safety!.

Please note that hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and bleeding are different things - hydrocephalus is generally a more chronic issue (long term) that is generally handled by placing a stint in - this is a tube that drains the extra water out of the brain and into the abdomen or another area!.
Acute (sudden) things like a fall or accident that cause bleeding can be a very tricky thing!. The problem with it is that there is only so much room in the skull - if there is bleeding and blood clots forming that reduces the room in the brain and compresses the brain!. This can cause brain damage!.
Now that said there are medications they can give to reduce the swelling and medical proceedures that they can do to remove large pockets of blood!. It's trickier if the bleeding is diffuse (small areas all over the place) as there is less they can do in that case!.
I do pray for your family, and hope that he recovers completely!. It is always very sad to see someone hurt, particularily if they are young!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this isnt water on the brain!. this is blood from a blood clot!. they will have to put this pressure monitor in his head to help with the pressure!. if the pressure gets to be too bad then they will have to do brain surgery and remove the clot and maybe part of the brain around the clot!. they can also medically induce him into a coma that might help with the pressure as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
sounds like a bad injury!. The bleeding inside the brain can cause the pressure to go up, and this inturn can also cause swelling!. The only thing the doctors can do is surgery to stop the bleeding and relieve the pressure on the !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
