How can you stop neck pain?!


Question: How can you stop neck pain!?
My neck always hurts!. I force myself to crack it so it feels better!. Got any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First thing first!. Do not crack your neck, as it will become a very bad habit and you can be addicted to it!.

The better way to reduce or eliminate neck pain is to relax your neck frequently!. If you are a teacher and has to mark papers frequently or if you are a houseperson with dishes to wash, you need to lower your neck frequently!. Prolonged lowering of your neck will cause neck pain!.

This is true if you have a weak neck!. Some don't have weak necks, but obviously you do!.

So, the best way to relieve the neck pain is not to strain your neck too much!. Always turn your neck left and right every ten or fifteen minutes and do some light exercises with your neck!.

Once in awhile, you can use your hand to pat your neck gently!.

But never try to crack oyur neck!. It is a very bad habit and as you age, you will feel more pain in later years!.

Use ointment as a last resort, and go for a neck massage if you have the money to spend!.

Go to a chiropractor and find out why it always hurts!. Do you do domething repetitive!? Have you been injured (car accident)!? Bad posture at work or at the computer!? Your chiro can help you determine this, and give you things you can do to help!.He can re-align your neck and whatever else has been affected (chances are, you have spinal alignment issues too!) This may take a few visits, depending on the length of time you have had this and the severity!. But once you're good, a visit once a month will keep you in line!. The more you crack your neck yourself, the more you will need to crack it!. It becomes habit and you can seriously injure yourself!.

I found a great book called "Pain Free" by Pete Escogue that really helped with my back pain!. There are chapters with different exercises for all types of pain!. He basically shows you what muscles are pulling your body out of balance and how to build up muscles to bring your body into alignment and keep it there!. They're incredible fast and easy workouts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well there's this pillow that has on lump on the top and one lump on the bottom one is bigger one is smaller and use the smaller side !. if you don't have the pillow use like a roundish oval shaped pillow and take a hot bath and have a massage!
