Answers:
yes it can!. i've been boxing since i was 4 and by the time i was 10 the hearing in one of my hears had gone completly because of the impacts to the head but i would yours should come back within a couple of days!. it is very rare to lose your hearing complety in on ear just from hitting your head once!. did you hit your head very hard when you fell!? you should see a doctor and stop sticking things in your ear because you could damage the ear drum and then your hearing will have no chance of coming back!. you should tell someone about your foster mum because if she is hitting you hard enough that you fall over you need to get out of there fast!. im sure it is illegal for foster parents to hit children in there care!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could have damaged your eardrum!. Rupturing or perforation will cause loss of hearing or loss of hearing sensitivity, as well as some pain!.

Don't go sticking cotton buds down it!. If you can, get it checked by a doctor!. They'll use a magnifying glass with a light on it usually to check!.

I got accidentally kicked in the pool on my ear years ago and it perforated my eardrum!. Absolutely killed, nearly drowned cos I couldn't get out of the pool very easily or fast!. I still have reduced hearing now from the perforated eardrum I got!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My advice would be to go see your doctor today if you can, it sounds as if you may have hit the ear drum which will need looking at straight away to ensure that a long term damage isn't done!.

I would also tell him the truth about how it happened, he might want you to speak to someone after the situation!.

Foster parents do not have the right to hit you, unless in self defence!.

Good luck but please get it seen to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, when Albert Einstein was young, he did some experiments on a train and the train caught fire!.
As a result, the train conductor gave him a punch on his head, resulting deafness in his right ear!.

Sad, isn't it!?

I am sorry but you could be deaf for your whole life!. I advice you to go and see a doctor if the deafness persists!.

By the way,I think that your foster isn't taking care of you very well!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Using Q-Tips can actually harm your ear!. Notice on the packaging it tells you NOT to put them in your ear!.!.!. yet everyone uses them!. Haha!. (I do too still, lol!.)

You SHOULD tell someone about your mom!. When someone gets abusive, that isn't good!.!. and you should probably move out!.
As for the deafness part, I can see how it COULD make you deaf if you hit it hard enough!.!.!. but I think the blow would have to be RIGHT on your ear drum!.
Go get it checked out for sure!. I hope you're alright!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to A and E you may have perforated your ear drum - don't put anything in your ear you could make the prob worse!.
No point in me ranting about how it happened - I'm sure you know what she did was wrong!. Speak to someone at school or at the hospital if this is a regular thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yea, its even possible to go deaf in both!.

Go to a doctor and see what they can do!.!. it should only be temporary its very rare that it can be permanant!.!.

I beleive in discipline but your foster mum has got to be really careful if not hitting you properly!!!

I have heard that, but can't say for sure!. You need to go to a Doctor because if there is an injury, the sooner you get to it the better!. You and your foster mom need to find a way to discuss things calmly!. Ask her to take you to a doctor or go to the school nurse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
