Question: Should i go to the gym, with sciatica!?
i went to the nurse who said i had sciatica but i have not been to the gym for 3 weeks and im feeling fat and wanna gym session but i dont want to make it worseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Possibly not, it's due to a pinched/trapped nerve and you might well make it worse, depending on what exercises you do!.

You ought to consult your nurse/doctor before attempting it and see what they say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the SAME issue
I have leg jerking with it and PAIN OH MAMA pain
so I wanted to hit the gym to help strengthen the muscles

BUT before you do I would ask for these gabapentin it is a nerve pill for the nerves in your back and the sciatica!. I take it three times a day and also have a list of exercises I can do that wont affect that nerve!.!.!.BIG HUGE DIFFERENCE!!
takes about 2 to 3 weeks to kick in!.!.but its my savior AND NO PAIN!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stretching exercises are good for sciatica!.

Went for physio over ten years ago for intermittent sciatica!. Now, as soon as a get a twinge, I do the exercises!. Maybe link below may help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
