Can hunger cause vomiting?!

Question: Can hunger cause vomiting!?
I was ill this morning and I vomited twice (gross, I know)!. Anyway, I was having trouble figuring out what had caused the vomiting - I hadn't eaten anything that could have caused it and the vomit itself was just a clear fluid!.

So I was thinking, could it have been hunger that caused it!? I was really hungry at the time!. Also, the night before, I only had a jacket potato for dinner!. Just a potato!. On its own!. Maybe there was something in the spud!?

Any ideas anyone!?

Answers:
nausea is common when you are hungry this is why it can be hard to start eating again after youve been sick for a long time, you get into a cycle of not wanting to eat because you feel sick but you feel sick because you are starving!. Also you just had a plain baked potato, the carbohydrate in that would have been burned off very quickly, you should have mixed some protein in there too, to be a substantial meal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
