Heat actually works very well for soothing tired muscles!. It sounds to me like you simply overdid it!. Thats a risk people run when they get gung ho and dive in too hard!. Let your muscles rest and then get back to it!. Just challenge your body don't kill it!. A good work out will have you sore but should be significantly less to gone in about 48 hours!. If you still can't get back to it after that amount of time because you are simply too sore, you over did it!. Be patient with your body!. GOOD LUCK!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably just pushed yourself a bit hard and your body wasn't used to it!. The best thing I found for soreness was to go for a light jog the next day (just to get the blood moving - it removes the lactic acid buildup from your muscles, which is causing the soreness)!.
Hot tubs can be great the next day, but you don't want to use them right after you exercise (ice baths are best right after doing some high intensity exercise)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The theory is that the hot-tub encourages more blood flow to the sore muscles and work the lactic acid out!. Stretching and plenty of water seem to work better for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes!. cool temetures reduce swelling and warm tematures relax muscle!. so yes hot tub would be good to smooth out swore mucles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
