I can't sleep..help please?!


Question: I can't sleep!.!.help please!?
I have difficulties sleeping!. I sleep for 2 hours, then I'm awake for another 2 hours!. It happens almost every night!. I stop drinking anything that contains caffeine after 5 pm and try my best to avoid any studying pressure but it doesn

if you want to try to do something about it yourself, I would suggest the following:
first if all- capital letters, and i mean it- RELAX!. the main reason for not being able to sleep is stress!. it happens because when you stress, your body is getting prepared "to fight or flight" and as a rule, that is not what you need!. stress is not only when you see or feel danger, it is also because you are under pressure - work, relationships,exams, friends, a big party coming up, Friday night, a date!.!.!.all sorts things!. make sure there is nothing bugging you- if you have issues or problems, talk about them to someone you trust!. if you cant do it- post it on yahoo answers to get peoples opinions , there are many helpful people out there!.

try also avoid caffeine at all if you suspect it might be the reason!.

try eating in moderation at least 2-3hours before you go to bed- full tummy is no good!.

try physical exercise, like jogging after work/school!. and after that try to take a relaxing bath, read a book and relax!.

Physical exercise will not only make you feel good about yourself, it is a great stressbuser!

try to develop system order and habits before you go to bed, so that there is nothing upsetting or unexpected, disappointing or stressful before you go to bed!.

sleep is very important and i wish you all the best, i am sure you will be fine, just pay attention to your body needs!.

There's your problem you shouldn't drink caffine any time after midday at the latest!. Cammomile tea with honey 1 hr before bed will help you to chill!. Or get tablets that have valerian, passion flower and hops in them!. Other things that will help is regular exercise and you may need to take Vitamin B suppliments and st Johns wort, if your having stress or anxiety problems!. Try not to watch too much tv before bed because it can stimulate you, listen to nice music or read a bit before bed!. And maybe get some lavander going to help you to calm down!. You're body can get into a routine of waking up, i would wake up at 3am on the dot every morning so i forced myself to go back to sleep and in a couple of days i was sleeping through again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
