He will always love you!. Accidents happen especially in sports!. You did not want him to get hurt!. You were trying to be a good parent and get him exposed to society, sports, sportsmanship and teaching him to balance physical activity with the rest of his life!. thank God he was not hurt worse, like lost an eye or got paralyzed as happens too many times in football!.

theres a 99!.99% chance he'll live, cuz its just an ear!. only an unnoticed infection can cause any real harm!.
the ear has nothing 2 do with playing football!. if anything hinders his football-playing skills, its his emotional connection, not physical!.

I didn't even know that was possible!. It sounds really!.!.!.horrible!. It's not football season!.!.!.!.!.I would hate to say that I don't believe you!.!.!.but I'm not sure I do!. Sorry!. I guess with any injury like that, death IS possible, but I'm sure he will be just fine!. I am hoping he can move on!.!.!.and if he wants to play football!.!.then he should!. Surely your son won't hold it against YOU!. It's not your fault!. He may be resentful and angry!.!.especially if he has to go without his ear!.!.!.if it affects his hearing!.!.!.etc!.!.!.anything like that would be traumatic to a kid!.!.!.so just take it easy and see what happens!. Well, sewing an ear back on isn't life threatening, and once it heals he should be able to play football again!. And you didn't rip his ear off, so why should he stop loving you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
