Pain releive?!
Question: Pain releive!?
anyone know how long does it take to get pain releif after applying a fentanyl 25 patch!? put one on 9 hrs ago and still in pain !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

25 is a pretty low dose!.!.!.!.I'd call your doctor and explain!. After 9 hours you should feel some relief!. I was on the patches 2 years ago and I had to work up from 25 to I think it was 175!.!.!.even with that I needed to take hydrocodone for break through pain!. DO NOT put on another patch!. btw, you might want to look into something else all together now for pain for instance!.!.I take morphine sulphate 3x a day 30 Mg's along with hydrocodone for break through pain now!. It's worked the best for me so far and I've been on it for about a year and a half!. There is some questions being asked now about fentynol patches and their safety!. People have died!.!.not sure on what strength or anything though!.!.!.it's on TV about if you've ever been on those meds call some lawyer!. Call your doc on call for the weekend!. You might have to go to the ER since it's a holiday weekend!.!.I'd hate to see ya suffer for days on end!. For some people, depending on the type of pain your trying to get rid of!.!.it doesn't help by itself!. (the patch)

they generally start out at 25 and if you don't get relief they go up from there!. I would call your doctor on call and see if they can give you a script for some breakthrough pain such as vicoden or something until you are able to be seen on monday and give the patch a day or two more to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
